The bread is very very good
I have adopted your recipe, I will do this bread once a week, from now on. It's true that the bread gets better and better with the "pre-dough" (I don't know the word in english, and I recommend this recipe to all those who haven't tried it yet!!! The bread stays fresh many days, without problem, bye bye nici!

I have tried this recipe
and it was "nicht gut!!" I am desappointed, maybe I didn't have the exact type of flour required to make it, but anyway I didn't like it it was nothing special, and expensive to make on top of that! kamo

Im glad that you are still here and Im verry happy about the good news.
Sorry that I have to tell you, but I tryed your recipe and my husband liked it verry verry much.
But than I changed the recipe a little bit, but only a little.
I gave a some piecees to my friends here in the US (differend nationalitys, and now they are totaly thrilled to eat the bread.
I can tell you
Now I have to give them the recipe.
Sorry that I have to tell you that.
If you are intrested in the recipe I will give it to you, of corse!
I tryed on the weekend a bread at my friends house, they are from Tunesia and I liked that kind of bread also verry much, it was with olives, onion and something else. Now I `m waiting also for that recipe.
If you are intrested in something like that, I will give it to you also.

that was good news! It doesn't matter if my recipe didn't work, I have to tell you that I didn't have exactlly the type of flour used in the recipe. But it should have worked anyway . Did you try the other one, that I gave you in this post? That recipe is one of my favourite, I'll do it quite often; I recently tried some greek bread with feta and olives, it was very tasty also, very soft and pleasant. I suggest that we put our "fund" as we say in swedish, on this post. Where are you in the US ? I live in the south of Sweden, but I am french, take care

What does it meen "fund"?
I live in detroit, the Motor City.
It is not a nice city and there is not much to do.
Next week Saturday we will drive to Florida
(2 weeks).
Then we will move back to Germany /Stuttgart.
So I have the internet only until next wednesday.
I will be back in 3 weeks (internet).

I had a look at my dictionnary german-swedish; I made a spelling mistake I meant "fynd", you know it is when you discover something very interesting at a very good price for example, by extension I wanted to say if we discover a very interesting recipe of bread, lets put it on this post. I think you should try this swedish one it had a lot of success on the french forum, it is a very good recipe and very easy on top of that. Well my baby is crying I have to switch off the computer now, bye bye!

Today I have a questions about the schwedish bread recipe.
I wanted to bake the bread but than there were to many questions, I hope you can help me:
-I have to rise the dough for 10 1/2 hours,is that right?
-than I have to put the dough carefully on a baking sheet,but on the otherhand I have to form the dough to a bread.
Im sorry I dont understand that

no you don't have to leave it 10 hours , one and a half hour is okay, or one hour should be ok actually. (it is quite liquid you know, it is not a paste you can work with the hands). So you sprinkle some flour on your table and you pour carefully the paste on the table, put again a little bit of flour on the surface of the bread and cut very carefully some squares from it. Then you have to put them on the baking sheet, using a large spatula, it is not very easy but it doesn't matter if the bread looses its shape. You just have to try not to crush it, to keep the bubbles from the yeast; if you have other questions you can also use my mail fisslisa@hotmail.com ("fisslisa" is my nickname on the french site) take care!

I tried that one yesterday
it is really good, it gave a big big bread! My 5 years' old little girl loves that recipe and it is a lot of fun to eat this plait (braid) (a braid of bread ). I like it with my morning coffe, my man makes sandwiches with it (yak ! with sausage, I keep on telling him it is not the right bread for sandwiches but he doesn't care), and my daughter likes it for her 4 oclock snack, with honey. I will often do this one also, well I have to go to bed now, take care! kamomilla
